ANIMAL ASSISTED THERAPY

A  relatively new service(AAT) - Animal Assisted Therapy is offered.  Animal Assisted Therapy is briefly outlined below.  It can only be offered by a Licensed Professional with documentation of the purpose and the outcome.  There is no additional charge for the service and it is very carefully planned and supervised and utilized in a manner for results not typically achieved in conventional therapy.

In brief:  an animal is used in the therapy or counseling session to work with the child or adult to assist.  The client opens up, becomes more comfortable and many other documented changes occur more easily.
